About me: I am Kristen, a long-time horse breeder and farmer established in southwest Virginia. One of my favorite parts of being a farmer is placing animals in homes that love them as much as I do. One day, I had a friend ask me if I would try consigning some of her horses, as she did not have the time to list them herself. I said yes, and that’s where this consignment story begins! While I have unofficially helped place many horses in the past, 2025 was my first year at officially consigning. With that being said, you will find that my fees are much less than other consigners as I continue to work to establish myself as a reputable consignment business in the horse market. While I am fairly new to the consignment game, I am certainly not new to horses, the ever-changing horse market, marketing, or social media! Are you a seller? I take the frustrating parts of selling out of the process! Simply put, I am an agent that represents your horse online and over the phone. My consignment services are a flat 5% of the equine’s final sales price. I will work with you to establish a realistic listing price. From the first ad to the transfer of ownership, I will make things as easy as possible for you.
